Strain that won't stink up the house?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Seeds Banks' started by Kronikkk, May 8, 2011.

  1. I'm aware it's usually sativas that are skunky but what is the best strain to grow that would also have little to no smell?

Would white widow be a possible candidate?

  2. if ever a plant needed deodorant it is white widow!!!!!!! Northern lights has a less intrusive smell imo

  3. Thanks bruh. Yea I posted this in the beginners growing forum and they said the same - northern lights. But which #? 1 or 5?

  4. # 5 was fine for me with 2 and just a couple of airwicks

  5. most plants, it does not matter what type of vetilation you have. It will stink up the house. No matter what I do I can still notice it and I have a totally sealed room with outside venting and it still smells a bit. Not too bad, but I notice it for sure.

  6. I just invested in ONA gel since my Phresh filter won't be here until Thursday. The trip home from the hydro shop it leaked. The fumes from that stuff about made me lose my lunch. It was some seriously potent stuff. I put that in my tent and I don't have any skunky odor escaping now.

  7. I have a Chocolope and a Kannabia Seeds Big Band about 53 days in flowering(12/12) and very little smell. I walk in the closet and put my nose almost on the buds and nothing. I vent into the room outside the closet with a piece of charcoal filter furnace filter (from Lowes) over the vent from the closet. The temp is mostly below 75, not sure if that effects it or not.

It could just be the pheno as I have never grown either of these strains. Or it could be my nose, however I've grown other strains that I smell as soon as opened the closet.

  8. From what I have read is low temps will stunt growth and high temps causes fluffy buds.
