I'm reading a little about the light spectrum and the distribution of energy among different wavelengths (colors). Though one thing I cant find, is how to determine what strains like what wavelengths of light, in particular, to create chlorophyll. At first I was pretty sure it was unanimous across strains to need more blue[400nm] & red[650nm] light, then I heard otherwise. I want to be as precise as I can with providing everything a plant needs, to increase potency and yield (I hope). Another question just crossed my mind, what makes the difference in using MH for veg and HPS for flower? What about HID that cover the spectrum output of both MH and HPS for both stages?
Hps and mh are the different lightbulbs you use in a hid setup. Mh for veg and hps for flower. Here are the two I use and the spectrums. These cover everything the plants need. Keep growing till the wheels fall off!!!
