Strain names over Phones?

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by PrincessTHC, May 3, 2011.

  1. So, I have been going to a new medical MJ dispensary a couple times . I have worked with a couple other dispensaries before, but this one seems super unprofessional and I'm trying to figure out if they are really just Sketch and I should take my name off their database.

They don't have any knowledge about anything, the manager didn't even know about what strains were indica, hybrid, and sativa for sure. Apparently the grower just color-coded the weed for them and they don't think its worth asking about the actual combo or parents or anything. I got an "Indica" from them that ended up being a hybrid that I would guess was at least 60% Sativa. It kept me up all night and now I have raging insomnia because of the mix-up. And when I asked about the effects of their different strains, he responded "They get you high." And that's the expert of the group!

Anyways, when I called to see if they even had any indicas in for this week and asked what strains they were carrying so I could check online reviews before going in; and they told me "We can't give strain names over the phone."

Now..... Does anyone know... is this an actual law or was it just B.S. for some unknown reason? I'd like to know that reason too, if so.

  2. If they are a legitimate mmj dispensary then that should be able to tell you prices, strain info and basically anything you want to know over the phone.

    I think at least....

It sounds like they are running a pretty shitty business anyway, so i would suggest finding a more professional supplier

  3. Yeah, I'm going to go back to my original dispensary. I just hoped this one would work because it's so much closer to my home, but oh well.

Now I just have to get my name off of their 'member-owner' list thing.

  4. you should definitely tell them that they suck and that youre leaving because of it! we don't need ignorant people supplying people with their medicine. there should be some requirements for starting a dispensary, weed college and shit. hell id go as far as to write a crappy review of the place and put it on the internet.

  5. Good idea :D

  6. I think the dispensaries I go to won't name strains over the phone either. This along with the no in/out policy makes them believe that they are doing all they can to prevent their patients from distributing to other non-medical users.

  7. I actually was planning on doing just that. I was going to start reviewing their strains, but now I'm focusing on just reviewing them.

  8. Yes, they cannot tell you anything regarding bud over the phone. I, too, have my MMJ.

  9. weed maps . com
Usually lists the strains and shit the dispensary has
