for me it would be quickest just to head down to santa cruz. i forget the name of the shop, but there are like 3-4 shops all in a couple square blocks; so you can cruise them all:)

graffix stands out as one name, i forget the others. but i know one shop carrys alot of roors. one whole wall full to be exact. expect to spend atleast 275 bucks.

  6. Welcome to GC Mang.

  7. Ah! San Francisco here!
    Welcome!
I guess if it ever came down to it, you could take a walk down Market Street. It's scary, though! I'd get a card and head to the Divinity Tree!
    Also, let's be friends! 8D

  10. Welcome igetghost. Like you, I just registered, looks like we're coming in together. :)

Before I moved down south to San Diego I lived in San Francisco for a while. Living there was one of the best experiences of my life. One of my favorite things to do was to leave my apartment on a Saturday afternoon say around 2pm and walk all around that great city. I'd get back home at around 7pm. I never spent a dime on anything. I would just walk around and look at all of the many great sights. I never took a bus or cab, I'd just walk and walk and walk.

Once a year they'd have a music festival right out in the street. They'd close down an entire block, a very long section of street. You'd have jazz and blues musicians who'd fly in from Chicago to perform. And the festival was free!

They had stages set up and everything. This was back in the late 90's. It was a fantastic event, totally free of charge. I don't remember the street it was on. You'd walk around the festival and the smell of chronic permeated the air. I gotta wonder if they still have that event. It took place around the month of September or so, which is a very warm month of the year in San Francisco. I remember the festival as always being a t-shirt only event. If you wore anything else you'd be sweating bullets. :D
