storing for a years time. please help/read

You will *never* get it dry enough to just Mason Jar it for a year. You would end up creating a nice little environment in your jar. Best way, I would think, would be to vac-pac it and stick that in a mason jar (sort of a hermetic seal), maybe some dessicant in the jar as well.

 

I think your best bet to conserve it is to either make hash out of it (ive heard hash conserves for a lot longer than herbal cannabis) or make some tincture like green dragon or w.e. But im not versed enough to tell you for sure.

 

why dont you just smoke all of it in one big pot smoking day? sort of like a send off for the next year.

 

can you vacume bag it and freeze it?

 

I second the Hash notion. Just make a big batch of hash and store it. The weed will never be fresh again anyway and will suck after year regardless.... mostly due to the degradation of THC over time with compression and cyclical heating and cooling in any environment. If you make some good QWISO and refrigerate it, it should keep for a very long time, plus will be super potent due to the -complete- evaporation of the Alcohol. Not to mention the decreased risk of it getting found in plant form and getting either thrown out or stolen!

Nothing is better than your own hash man. N-o-t-h-i-n-g. And... your pot would probably look similar to actual cheese after a year if you don't . Hash would still keep longer than buds anyway, even if not-refrigerated. Besides, if you use good pot- you will get good hash. It's elementary! I know you are probably stuck on keeping it in bud form, but I implore you to convert it to hash, photosynthetic/chlorophyll'd (hehe) plant material provides too much room for error when trying to store for extended periods of time.

 

i say do this... break it all up like u wer gonna smoke it... stems seeds and all.... prepare it to smoke.... then put it on a tray and under a cfl for like a say moving it around and breaking it up and shit making it really dry.... maybe leave it out on a table for a couple days to dry up really well

then take a mason jar and sterilize it, if you have a pressure cooker great but if not follow some of the steps some of the muchroom growers use to sterlize their jars... they do this buy basically boiling it in water to kill everything and sterilize it then let it cool off in the pot you sterlized it in till its cool... pull it out and dry it off with a clean towel put ur bud in there and seal that shit up.... i would think this should work well esp the sterilizing part so you wont be harboring any bacteria in the jar.... although im shure youll be introducing alot in with the bud its a step that might help keep contamation to occur

this way also wen u get back after a year you got some prime bud all broken up and shit ready for you to roll

hopefully the bud will stay good in that year but who knows u might come back to find it a big ball of mold and shit.. but idk you might as well try to save it

 

the way I see it, you really only have 2 options

- smoke, smoke your ass off. wake up tomorrow bright and early, wake and bake will be a great way to kick it off, once your done smoke some more, iif you start getting sick dont worry, just pack another bowl and smoke some more.

- sell it to a friend, its not like your a drug dealer or pushing pills onto kids. give it to a friend for ~half what you paid at least.

and by the way... mister "college" kid, going over seas for school isnt the sort of thiing that just comes up out of the blue, you bought a huge stock of bud before going overseas where you wont be able to smoke at all?

I heard if you flush it down the toilet It gets you a liberation high and you won't fail your DT

 

vaccume bag seal it then vacuum seal that back and so on for about 5 bags, then put those bags in some kind of metal box of some sort and burry it in some public area like a dessert or open field at night. then when you get back just take a metal detector to the bitch and find your stash.

but yea im high so the whole black ops undetectable method is probably unnecessary
