Put it in a sealable container and place in freezer. You want to use a container so you don't smush the cupcake. Have fun on your birthday, mate.
refrigerator or freezer in a sealed container. Either way it is likely to be bad after storage but it shouldn't hurt the potency. I usually buy chocolate bars of some sort and store them in the refrigerator.
