Storage Containers

Those jars are a rip off. For a 1/4 you'd want about an 8oz size. You can buy that infinity jar for $20, or you could buy a mason jar for $4. The mason jar would be 100% smell proof, not so much with that infinity jar. The thing is though, that container you've picked out is about 1 inch deep. NO JAR will fit in that. None of my grinders will fit in that. No idea what sized bubbler you think is going to fit in that either. And you really don't want a traveling kit type setup anyway. They're big, ludicrous, and impossible to ditch if you need to. And if you do manage to ditch it, you'll cry about how much it cost and you lost it. There's a reason people get a pill bottle, stuff a baggy of weed, pipe and a lighter and call it good.

 

some pill bottles are not even air tight anymore. most of my prescriptions come with cheap caps that won't even hold in the smell. the small mason "jelly" size makes a good traveling jar with the pint or half pint to store a small pipe in. Be sure to go with the wide mouth regardless of size.

 

Depends where your taking it.
If your walking the streets and smoking in parks then sure ditching it or escaping with it are your top 2 concerns- cant beat the pill bottle (or things of similar size) for that.
I dont do that.
For me convenience wins- depending what else Im doing theres 3 or 4 places in the house I may roll up and I want all my stuff without having to search around or make multiple trips up there stairs. Same for taking it in to the back garden. Or to a friends house (usually driving, but walking I wouldnt expect carrying my box to increase the chance of being stopped by police). Or when travelling on business.
All situations where ditching or running arnt a concern but I want the piece of mind of knowing when Iv grabbed one thing Iv got everything I need.
If your just talking about moving it around the house or live in an area where having a big box of weed and parephenalia is legal then theres no reason not to box it like that.


My cases are pelican (if your american)/ Pelicase (if your european) type things , (not actual peli, fuck paying £200 for a plastic box, theres people who make very similar things for 10% the price without the name). Very small one with papers, roach, hemp wick, lighter, spare lighter, grinder, small pipe, a container for weed etc. Then a bigger one that contains a desk top vape, grinder, space for weed, bag for collecting abv, spare parts for vape.
These types of case have the advantage of being very nearly air tight (normally advertised as water proof) so contain smell very well.
