I guess the title really should be FIXING computers but what ever. So this is what happened to me over the past 24 hours. Basically just reinstalling windows to my computer, typicaally it has to screw up 94503 times before i get it right, then it just screws me some more. So after Windows Vista started to act buggy, I decide to reinstall it and have a fresh install. After about 4 hours I finally got it to install and not f me over. So i proceed to install my drivers, all that crap. Its working good so i have no issues, now I want the service packs.... thats when trouble started. I wait thru the hour the service pack took to install and right as it gets to around 90% it ERRORS! So I called it a night not wanting to put up with more computer bs for the night. The next day I try to fix the Sp issues and whatnot, to no avail . So I pretty much snapped and kicked my computer tower, which collide into desk, then I kicked it some more! goodie so the screws in that part of the desk snapped from the cheap wood the desk is built of. Sitting there in awe of the freakin damage I made i checked my comuter tower and its dented big time on the front, so i get more angry and shanked it with a screwdriver and put holes into the case making things worse. Trying to undent and cover the holes i end up snapping a couple fan cables, so now the major fans to suck air out are broken. So I have pretty much just broken a $120 computer case, $200 desk and 12 hours of bs! So theyres my pissed off story haha. Thanks if you read through the text wall, I guess Im just trying to vent or something Anyone else got any "rage" stories?
HAHA yeah I agree. I hate Microsoft Windows. I've used Macs my whole life, except in high school, my dad bought a PC. It lasted about a year before we got sick of its shit, and bought a Mac to replace it. I'm not saying Macs are perfect, but they're so easy to run and use. They're great if you just use your computer for web browsing, music, video, porn, ... you know, basic use. There are certain things that Macs are not good for, like gaming, and maybe computer programming (??) I don't know, I don't do any of that stuff anyway. I do like Microsoft for the Xbox 360, which I use for video games. I've had my Mac for like 3 years and have had zero problems. And so you have a backup computer so you can post on Grasscity? Or did you fix it???

I am a stoner from hell and my old job was an Internet Tech. It was pimp I was stoned everyday there. I love computers and built my first machine at the age of 12. 19 now. I have all of the skill levels to do something big with it but no opportunitys or degrees to get me there...

the dell guy got fired for smokin weed. vista is shit. try linux ubuntu or if you have to have windows use windows 7 or xp.
Use this instead: openSUSE.org Everyone is different but I find being stoned can make mundane system administration tasks rather enjoyable. Then again, I am a "geek."
Or learn yourself, it saves a lot of money, just don't tell anyone you're good with computers then you get into my position where I become the I.T guy for the whole family (very large family)
jesus man, the only time I got a 'retard rage' was when i was little bout 6 or 7, my NES wouldn't play this game, I kept blowing in it blowing blowing blowing..then I started pounding on the NES, I then started to slam the NES on the ground repeatedly..then pounding it some more, then slamming it a couple times again...turned it on poof it works first try! do that with a xbox 360...LOL
