Am I the only one who takes offence to being called a pothead? I feel like being a pothead is a fake stoner who spends everything on bud and all their time. Vs A stoner respects and appreciates but and they smoke everyday maybe but they function in society though. Just let me know what you think
Neither is inherently offensive. It's all in how you take it and/or how it is meant. There are shitty people and there are good people. There are people who use cannabis and people who don't. Pothead and stoner are just words don't get too caught up in it.
Honestly the words have no meanings to me other than "you smoke pot". It all depends on the tone of the person saying it.

Same thing, although stoner can sometimes also mean somebody who indulges in other mind-altering stuff, especially stuff that makes you trip, and makes you talk about star trek and stephen hawking. lol
