So my bike got stolen 6 months ago, I went into Walgreens and I when walked out and it was gone. I filed a report to the cops but didn't have the serial number so I thought I was never gonna see it again. Well yesterday I was at a movie theater like 5 miles from my house and I saw it locked up there! So I went back home and got wire cutters and cut the lock and got it back what are the chances... Always keep ya shit locked up. I had a $75 bmx bike I used to use to go to school with and best believe I locked it up everyday. You never know. Thieves steal inexpensive kids bikes all the way to expensive ones like yours depending on how desperate they are.

Kids in my neighborhood stole a broken scooter and my skateboard from my porch. I see them riding the scooter, it's just always at the wrong time. At least you got ur stuff back. And at the idiots who are saying what if he sold it. It doesnt matter since buying stolen items is illegal no matter the circumstances.
There should be no sympathy for people who buy stolen property. Nobody gets a deal THAT good unless its hot. If it was paid for, it was probably karma rearing his unexpected head like, "surprise fucker!"
I used to live in a really shitty area of my town, and I had a crappy old bike that needed a bunch of work, I'm talking like half flat tires, the chain wouldn't sit properly on the gears, just basically a scrapper. Anyway one day I hear this big crash, I head out to my back lawn(which was open to a public dirt trail) and some guys running away and my bike's in the middle of the trail. Fucker didn't count on the chain falling off when he tried to ride away on it lol. This bike was so bad though I was honestly disappointed that he didn't take it off my hands.
Nice story. Maybe the thief didn't sell it, some kids are stupid enough to steal a bike and keep riding it around like it's theirs. Who knows. One time a helmet was stolen off my motorcycle at my own apartment. It made me pretty mad because it was a $200 helmet, and I lived in a shitty place apparently. I felt pretty dumb about it. I bet you felt worse when your bike was stolen.
Some kid left his bike outside my house, so I waited a couple of days and took it as my own. I don't feel bad cause if the guy wanted it, I didn't touch it for a while. I must say, its a fairly decent bike
