    Well there is some place in the world which is either GMT +12 or GMT+14 so it definitely should've happened now unless it's waiting for sunrise at the latest possible time (when it's either 11:12 in GMT-12 or -14 )

    It's because the UK has a latitude of 0 - therefore it is the centre. No idea why the latitude is zero tho. Also apparently it's the median time.
