Is the best time to harvest when they are sticky? I kinda feel that they get that way as a last ditch attempt to get pollen. If I get seeds again this year I'm gonna blame the neighbors.
Don't go by if they are sticky or not... Get a microscope and check the trichomes. If they are turning milky and most of the hairs on the plant are changing color then its time.
I would watch the hairs as well they r the key to the proper harvest, at least I have been told. And it was from a good source, he had been growing in Oregon for about a year. He said the same thing about the hairs, when 70% r turned amber then it is tyme. Good luck though. JOE>
