Stems getting white?

    I got my weed a couple weeks ago. It is still very fruity smelling but i noticed the stems have been getting white. Not necessarily the weed itself but the stems...is this a problem?

    Could be mold or mildew, but it would be easier to tell if you had pics. Does it almost look like a candy coating or wax? Or is it more of a powder appearance?

    More like candy coating wax...i mean it doesn't look like it's powder really it just looks like the stem is like just getting white or something.
