Stems and cannabuter quick Q

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by JohnCRiley, Feb 1, 2011.

  1. So here's my question. When using stems for cannabutter, does it only work with stems that were surrounded by bud? For example, you know how there's the main branch stem or whatever and then there's stems coming off of that which form into bud? I mean after it branches off the main stem, can you use those stems before the bud starts to make cannabutter? And what is a preferred ratio for stems-1 stick in weight. Also, should leaves be added or ignored?

This is all from dank plants, but I don't know if that makes a difference when it's not the actual bud.

    Thanks!
