Stemless Bong Water Level?

Discussion in 'Bongs, Dab Rigs & Bubblers' started by L, Jul 11, 2014.

  1. Hi. First of all is this a big ass pipe or a bong? There's no downstem just a long tube that connects to the bowl. To let the smoke filer through the water I fill it up through the tube a little. But I get water in my mouth. Too little water and it doesn't make the bubbling noise. What do :(

  2. Sorry forgot to add the photo image.jpg

  3. That's most certainly a stemless bong. How much water are you putting in it? It doesn't need to be much over the joint. From my experience, stemless bongs don't make as much noise, particularly if you're used to something more along the lines of an old school Roor without a diffused downstream.

  4. Just not sure if no noise means it's not filtering through the water

  5. Fill it up like a centimeter above the hole of the stem.  keep an eye on the water level as You lean the bong.

  6. Like Cones alluded to, stemless bongs work best on a flat table. If you're tilting/leaning with it and there's not much water, very little percolation will occur.

  7. Yea dont tilt it and when you put what in it it shluld be about a quater of the way up the stem maybe a little more some times its just preference
