Stem, Trichromes or Hairs? (pic)

    This is a stem of what I'm toking on currently. Stems are covered in shite, can't tell if its trics or some thing else...? Under real close zoom looks like a few domes, but mostly spikes. What do you think blades?

    looks too hairy to be all trichromes. like the way the spikes just taper makes it look like hair.

    You better be sure and keep the stems and shake em around in a grinder or something for keif ... or I guess you could just smoke the stems but ya might get a headache.

    The amount of THC you'd get off stems is so small, as to be negligible.

    i think stems produce some sort of protective hair you can see even in veg. looks like those hairs and stalk trichomes

    I figured it might be nothing but I know there is some THC in stems. Ive saved up stems before, and once I had an oz of stems I cooked them in some whole milk over low heat for a long ass time. At the the end the milk was green tasted like weed and made me really sleepy.

    If you have more buds like that do what i do. I collect alllllll of my stems from all the i smoke. I put them in a jar right after i pick them out. I have a screen that fits nicely on the top of my jar, so when i take the lid off i put that on. But first after the jar is full of stems, top the top and pretty dense. I shake the jar for about 5 minutes. Then i take the lid off and put the screen on then shake the jar over a bag and gather all of the good stuff that falls out and get rid of anything extra that made it through. Im not sure if that will make much sense.
