Stealthy Bagseed ~ Mini 12/12 CFL Grow !

Discussion in 'Indoor Grow Journals' started by sifika, Jan 18, 2010.

  1. Hey GC, started another little grow and thought I would take some pics. The tub is about 1.4ft tall and about 1ft wide. Not a lot of room at all, which is why I am doing 12/12 from seed.

    I am not doing this grow to gain lots of bud, more so for the experience of growing from 12/12. I hope to get much better at this technique and move on to a much bigger PC case or Tupperware.

    I will start off with 5 seeds, hoping for 3 females. The seeds are all currently being germ'd, I will have pics up in a couple of days. Here is a small list of the materials being used in the grow;

    - Bagseed
    - Scythe 90CFM Silent Ball Bearing Fan
    - Mylar Tape
    - Carbon Filter
    - Hortibec Organic Potting Soil (/w Perlite added)

    I will be running a single 42Watt 6000k when the plants are sprouting, about 2 weeks in I will have x2 26Watt 2700k bulbs to have a better spectrum for flowering. I hope you enjoy my grow, please feel free to leave comments or questions ! :bongin:

    With the carbon filter over top of the fan, it is 100% lightproof. (This took lots of mylar tape on the inside to do, as well as the outside being coated in black duct tape)

  2. What kind of bagseed is it?

  3. Dont waste your time on bagseed man. speaking from experience, it can be nothing but headache after headache. u got a pretty solid setup and if i were you man, i would invest in some low-riders (feminized of course). most sites you can buy by the seed, so you can just pick out exactly what u want. Ten bucks a seed is more than worth it in the end.

    im a little worried about your wattage, only because i had just about the same and it really stretched my seedlings (2 at the time). i like to have 100 actual watts, not incandescent equivalent, per plant. 150 is ideal.

    best of luck man, cant wait to see how it all turns out.:smoke:
