I have a few questions about stealth growing and growing in general. At this point my questions are purely academic/out of curiosity. I'm trying to find out whether growing would even be possible in my current situation. Stealth: 1: How well could a stealth grow be hidden? Lets say I Set it up in my closet. That would mean the closet would need to be ventilated (that means noise, and it would have to vent somewhere,) and lights would need to be inside the closet. This would necessitate wires and and other things coming out of the closet which is very conspicuous. Growing: 1: For a small grow op, what would be a rough estimate of how much supplies would cost? 2: To have lights running would mean using extra electricity. About how much would this add to the electric bill? (I might be able to compensate for this by going around my room and house and being an energy nazi. After all this I think I might have answered my own question, but I still would like to hear others opinions. Just how stealthy can a stealth grow be? Sorry guys I just realized I should have posted my questions about closet growing in the microgrow section my bad.
as far as stealth goes i think a pc grow would suit your needs, real quite and easy to conceal. supplies will probably run you around 100$. as for the energy nazi comment try unplugging everything before bed or even when an item is not in use that will help greatly as things are always pulling electricity even if there turned off
Surge protectors are your friend, get everything wired in the closet and go through 2 surge protectors, one to the wall plug outside of the closet and the other to that surge protector and the lights, fans, etc.
grab any old pc tower, the bigger the better, and completely gut the whole inside but keep the fans...then use your imagination on light setup, reflective mat., etc.. i have even seen ppl grow hydro in a pc

check out my stealth box. completely un noticable. I hollowed out a 11*6*7 speaker, panted the walls white, stapled 2 light sockets to the roof and put in 2 42 watt 6500k cfls, shes in flowering 8 inches tall. 6 nodes. shes the best mofucka ever.
My supplies cost nothing, just took some light sockets from parents. but ill give you an estimate old speaker:0$ 2 42 watt 6500k cfls:10$ white spray paint:5$ old pc fandepends on if you get out of something old or buy one, buying one is about 10$ and the overall electricity from sprout to harvest: 15$ to answer question 2 my first month of growing i saw an increase of 11 bucks. so the next month i tried being real conservitive and the electric bill was 15$ less than the previous month, so i actully reduced my electric bill. you should be fine and a stealth box can be very stealthy, dont wory about odor for a small plant, the biggest problem or me was the fan noise and to conquour that, i just put a small water fountain (the one with the pebbles) in my room. you cant even hear the fan now
i wouldnt use a pc case. if youve already holloed it out thats fine but in my opinion dont. first of all, you would have to keep the pc box in a computer room next to a computer or something (you cant just have a pc box laying around if your being stelathy) second, their narrow which can make it hard to get in. remember this is my opinion dont come bashin in on me for my opinions, you can have yours and i can have mine. I prefer stereo boxes because you can pretty much put a stereo anywhere without it being noticed (surround sound (=) so there you go. hope that helped
