Stealth Grow

Hey everyone. I am about 2 weeks into my first grow. I figured i would make a journal to help all other beginners, but also so i can keep track of things. This is a Hydroponic grow using an ebb and flow system. Building instructions can be found on this web site:

Any way i am using a 400W MH Grow bulb with the maximizer reflector. The closet dimensions are 3'x2'x5.5'. I dont have mylar as a reflective material yet but am using aluminum foil. The nutrient solution is made for hydroponics that i picked up at a local gardening store. It is called EzGro.

Ok so initially i started all my seeds in a wick system where they grew very slow and didnt get the proper moisture levels in the soil. So i built this system and transplanted them into it. I really suggest this system to anyone as i have seen amazing results so far. My only issue right now is that i dont have a digital PH meter. I have been using strip testers but they are not very accurate. No worries though, the meter is already shipped out.

The plant in the pic is the largest by far. I will borrow my buddies camera really soon and get some good quality pics so stay tuned.

OH i forgot to ask. Does anyone have any links to info on fimming and topping. Or any other ideas on getting these plants bushy... Thanks guys
