Stealth Grow...Taking Care of My 88 Year Old Dad.

Thought I would share my closet stealth grow I started on Aug. 1st. After 25 years in Florida smokin the finest weed 3 years ago I had to move back to my hometown to take care of my Dad due to his failing health. With no connections here i was without smoke for over 2 1/2 yrs until last summer when i finally hooked up with an old freind. Never wanting to be in that situation again i decided to grow my own in my bedroom closet. I currently have 3 ladies in flower an indica and sativa both 5 weeks since flipped (started Aug 15th) hoping to harvest by 12/20 we will see. The 3rd is an indica i started 12/12 from seed on 10/1. I have also converted another closet into my veg/clone room. Dailing this grow in has been a challenge but after3 months feeling more comfortable. My Dad has no clue..... this setup is upstairs in a townhome he can't access due to a disability. The last photo is an indica i topped using Uncle Ben's Topping Technique (you can google)i topped 6 days ago per his instructions should produce 4 main colas so good so far. I'm running alittle over 450w in the flower tent. My temps avg 79-84 w/lights on. I have 2-240cfm fans providing intake along with a 260 cfm oscillating fan. My exhaust is a 560cfm inline. I'll post some photos shortly...

 

Best I could do with the cell phone. I have an attic acess directly above my tent that i run both the exhaust and intake from. I have installed 2 dampers Amazon.com: Speedi-Collar SC-06D 6-Inch Diameter Take Off Start Collar with Damper for Hvac Duct Work Connections: Home Improvement one to the left of the exhaust which allows me to close and exhaust only or open and scrub. I also have a damper on the intake incase the attic air gets too hot or cold i can shut it off and just use the oscillating fan and the passive air. These dampers are great they seal up air tight unlike the cheap metal ones at lowes which don't work. Anyway i built the light hood out of a two hood vents (lowes) total materials not including bulbs about $40. Hope this helps.....Burn One

 

Found these at walmart $10. Using on veg room stapled velcro on the curtain and door frame so i can close up for dark period. Works great.

FF Ocean forest
vermiculite
perlite
Alfalfa pellets
lime
bone meal
blood meal

Wake and Bake Lights On....got a new toy so i can see trichs. 60x to 100x magnifier (radio shack 12 bucks) the trichs on the indica and sativa (6 wks into flower) are both mostly clear which is fine i really want to see these bulk up and aim for 12/20 harvest. I'm continuing to feed 20/20/20 every 7-10 days. The plants have nice green lush foilage and the buds are still showing new growth. Haven't lost hardly any leaves a couple on the very bottom. This link should help. If you'll look on the 1st page of this thread i posted a photo and details on the vent system for my flowering room (4'w x 2.5' d x 5' H, tent). In a dresser i would drill some holes in the back and sides and get a couple of 4" fans. Introducing fresh air and keeping the temps below 85 are key.....Good luck man!!!!!

Also a cool mist humidifier may help. Got mine at home depot for $30.

 

Good morning...thought i would update.

Indica 43 days flower(trichs mostly clear some amber ones on leaves) indica 12/12 (50 days) my 12/12 experiment lol not expecting much yield, but she has filled out some in the last few days....Sativa 43 days flower (trichs clear) damn this thing may not be ready til January
