Hey everyone. I am going to start growing sometime later this year. I am a complete newbie at this, and was hoping to get a few of my bigger questions answered before I purchase anything or layout plans for my grow. I already have a list of things that I consider essential: 1. There needs to be no smell. - I have roommates who are completely against this kind of thing so I cant have any smell. 2. I need to use the least amount of power possible. - I know this is tough, but with LED lights I think I can make it work. 3. It needs to be hidden. - My closet space is 4ft wide(48inch) by 3 or 4ft deep, and about 5.5ft tall and this is where I plan to put my grow tent. I have already put together a list of items (all priced and able to be purchased from amazon, minus the seeds of course, at around 479 or 370 (this with only one of the LED lights). I am really looking for input on whether or not this will be a good enough stealth setup. All input will be greatly appreciated. P.S. It is kind of hard to find (already searched around) but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a reputable place to purchase seeds from. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I always get confuzzled on how a grow tent can classify as stealth to some people.... It's one thing to grow in a pc tower, or fridge, or dresser, or any other object that doesn't jump out and say "oh look at me!" But a tent is just asking for someone to snoop once they see it.
Don't get me wrong, I grow both stealthily, and in tents. But my tents are setup in rooms that are locked and inaccessible to most. And I also don't have roomates.
I can definitely see your points, and this is exactly why I posted here before making any decisions on setups or things to buy. The tent would be located in my room inside of my closet which doesn't currently store anything. I have also toyed with the idea of building a custom box to make it not stand out as much but haven't come up with any good ideas, or seen any that I really like. Attitude seedbank is where I got mine. One of the strains I got had a bad germ rate and they sent more of them for free. Great company imo, plus massive selection.

so you are relying on your roomies (parents) to not find or catch on ? do you think they're that dumb ? they gonna boot your ass when they find out
Gonna have to agree, if you're saying they are anti growing what makes you think they won't snitch if they suspect anything. If you guys share an electricity bill that's another thing to consider. As for smell, unless you keep that tent closed 100% of the time with a heavy duty carbon filter I don't see it being odourless
If I were in your situation, ie..roommates, I would just continue to buy my weed. Why take a chance of being evicted or worse? Patience. Just wait until you have a place of your own, or cooler roommates. Sent from Cannabis Heaven
