I want to do something awesome for my boyfriend's birthday. He's always seeing stealth grow boxes online and I would like to build him one. I was hoping to get the help of someone who has an idea because I don't even smoke marijuana, let alone grow it. Any help I can get would be appreciated at this point.
First thing is how big a space do you have? Do you have basic woodworking skills? Can you wire a plug?
We have a good sized apartment, yes to wood working, no to the plug. But I'm willing to learn. The one he was looking at specifically was one made out of a dresser.

Ok, so do you want something that sits among your other furniture and no-one can tell, or is it going to sit somewhere no-one will see it? You need to either state a size limit, or a desired weight per grow so we can give you more advice really.
I want it to sit among the normal furniture and have nobody know. The apartment is 1800 square feet. Something like that. Our bedroom is 15x15.
Hey, I'm about to build something that sounds the same, we need to know how big of dresser you want to use? Do you have one lying around in mind? I'm going to use a dresser about 4 ft wide, 4 ft tall, 2 feet deep. DWC hydro system as this will be my first indoor grow, and I feel after research that's most simple and cheap!? me and my buddy made one out of my nightstand it was only about 40 bucks all in all for the supplies, its pretty short though so i can only do lst grows in it.
Built a speakerbox last year.. Wait turned a floor speaker into a box (there we go that makes some sense lol) an I found its more of a pain in the ass than anything. 1 plant, an even the fucking cfl's cause too much heat in such a confined space lol. BUT 100% STEALTH. May parents came to visit me.. It was in the corner of the room nxt to the couch. I was planning on sitting there as to keep them an my grandparents away from there lol. But my old man sat there an didnt even look over at the speaker once. Goodluck OP. But when i was designing a dresser box I wanted to make sure the top drawers opened.
