  1. This was a wonderful show. It's a 10 part mini-series that is based on a 2014 novel of the same name. I didn't read the book. A single movie though never usually does a novel justice, so this was nice to see.

It's a post-apocalyptical plot that shows various groups of survivors over the course of a 20 year period or so. There's a little bit of violence, but it isn't all killing and such. Some of the episodes can be a bit slow, but worth the watch. One of the better shows I've seen.

  2. watch this years back, good too

This production started filming in Chicago in January 2020 and (according to a September 2021 Steve Greene article in IndieWire) was about one-fifth completed before having to shut down in March 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Filming resumed in February 2021 in Canada, and wrapped that July. So this series about life before, during, and after a catastrophic worldwide pandemic was filmed before and during (and aired during) a catastrophic worldwide pandemic.(imbd) .....ain't that nuts!
