Stash Storage

    I can normally get some dank for a good price every now and then. So when I can I like to pick up a qp. So now to my storage question. I have been storing my stash in the large mason jars, but have started to notice it is becoming dry.

    I have read multiple threads on here, with everyone having a different opinion on the BEST storage method. I know that three things degrade marijuana.

    1. Oxygen
    2. Light
    3. Heat

    There are others, such as moisture etc. but with all of this I feel that vacuum storing is best. I read a thread on here debating about using vacuum bags vs the storage containers. From what I have seen and read, vacuuming bags can and will damage the buds along with making my dank look like mexi.

    I started thinking, why wouldn't the simple hand vacuum pumps with the mason jar attachment seal them just as well? This seems to be a great alternative to the ~$200 for the foodsaver system plus the hard container. Is there any reason this wouldn't work?
