Starting sprouts

  1. Gonna be growing some autos for the first time. Once they're germinated and in their container, can I just stick em underneath my CFL's right away, or do I put them in a windowsill or something until they sprout?

Roots grow in darkness, foliage grows in light.Edit: with cfls, you can put the lights 4" above the pot for optimum light efficiencySent from my Droid using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  3. also, dont over feed them, i could be wrong but think autos are weaker than regular plants....

  4. Their more sensitive to stress early on and they don't handle being transplanted to well that's why its recommended with auto to plant them in the grow pot their going to be finishing out in. As for feeding them their just like regular plants and shouldn't need any nutes for the first 2-3 weeks. Just like a regular plant nutes to early can burn and or stunt them.

  5. oh i didnt realize autos ever got the same strength nutes as regular :p
