Hey, im completely new to growing so can someone post a list of thing i would need if i was to make a small/medium sized growbox and if lowryder is a good strain to start of with i understand it is small and quick and easy to grow but is there any other strains with similar qualitys? cheers for reading
The thing i see as a challenge with a grow box is adequate ventillation. Installing fans or duct fans seems like quite the challange. Lights get hot, even cfls. What type of box were you thinking of using, and how big. what type of light. The Lowrider is a good strain, indica if i remember correctly.
i was planning on making a growbox about 2-3ft wide and 2ft high using step by step guides but im not sure if that is too big or too small, as for lighting i have no idea what would you recommend?
I have a few friends who have done PC box grows, and Lowryder is the auto of choice. Rarely do they exceed 18" tall, and they are the most consistent in terms of the # of seeds that actually auto, and quality of the harvest while not the "best" is consistently "very good". Another friend swears by his flagship auto strain, Nirvana's Short Rider. Here are a few links to DIYers Stealth Box Projects: Build it and THEY will grow!! I'm growing 2 lowryders (autos) in a pc case right now. It's my first grow. I'm about 2 weeks into it and one just started flowering today. I'm using mericle grow organic soil that "feeds plants up to 6 months." I used 4 6500k 26w CFLs for veg and just swapped them out with 4 2700k 23w CFLs for flowering. Thats about it. 80mm intake fan, 120mm exhaust fan. I water every 3 or 4 days. Nutes are already in the soil so there is no need to add any.
Not to hijack, but I've been interested in hearing more on Auto Mazar grows. If Dutch Passion's claims are even 1/2 accurate, that means, auto plants with photoperiod plant yields. Sweet!
