Starting my first grow in a spare bed room. The dimensions of the room are Length: 10ft, Width: 10ft, Height: 8ft. I heard your lightbulb(s) had to equal 50 watts per square feet? Or does it depend on how many plants I have that determines what kind of bulb I get? Thinking of having anywhere between 12-30 plants. Any advice or help would be really appreciated. All I need to really know is what kind of lights should I buy and how many watts do they need to have for that many plants in that big of space? Thanks alot.
2x 1000W HPS with China Man Hats on them... Or if you have the money, get a light mover.... which works on a 2 rail system and moves the lights slowly back and forth, covering the whole room.... I've seen a room set-up, with similar dimensions and he had 4x 400W HPS, and 1x 1000W HPS in the middle for about 20 middle sized plants. It really depends on the amount of plants your after???
20 plants is good. You think 2x 1000W HPS w/ China Man Hats would work? I'm really looking to get as much as I can from them in 1 cycle.
