Well basically starting a indoor grow if prop 19 passes.. but my question is if i house the plants in my garage will the coldness effect them to much (its pretty cold during the day and ALOT colder at night)and would i need to worry about ventilation as much sense its a big garage? ive been tryin to reaserch it but these have been kind of unclear to me so thanks..
It has to pass first, I would recommend going and getting a recommendation from a doctor rather than bet on if it passes. I wouldn't let your ambient air temperature get lower than 62..
there nothing wrong with me haha and i just honestly didnt want to risk gettin caught..but okay cool i guess i would have to make some insulation changes or something then..
i think i will have to go that route when its gets into late November and December.. lasst thing i want is the plants to die cause its to cold..
Not totally correct. You are mainly thinking of an election, this is not an election. If the vote passes with 50% and one vote we win. It will be effective on November 3rd. Many people are getting ready to grow because of the less harassment form LEO's. Once it passes I anticipate the cost of Doc Rec's to go double because of the added 'protection' it offers. We will all see tomorrow I guess.
This is an election, otherwise we wouldn't be voting. Propositions are created for the general public to decide on issues that will affect the majority, which is why it requires a majority vote to pass.
Getting a NO vote from me personally. Get a doctor rec today, as said above, they will go up if it passes, and just for the record, if you read the LA Times article, the DA will still be going after people who do grow, as it is breaking federal law.
Yeahhh so when exactly did medical marijuana become a federal law? I will NEVER get a doctor's rec, abusing the system has made it so much harder to legalize it for everyone, so i would just be one more d-bag getting one to laugh in others faces. A no vote is pretty selfish, this is a good first step towards full legalization, we know that no one will vote for outright ending prohibition without some sort of regulation and taxation. AS a prop, it also allows it to be revised after it is voted on without having to go through political loopholes like senate and assembly bills. The American people are too divided on the issue after years of bullshit propaganda, those who know the truth will prevail! YES ON 19!
Meanwhile.....You control the heat in the garage. A smaller grow inside a heated grow tent will save money on the heat bill. Just keep the area around 70*-75* and not less than 60-65* when lights are out. Keep your pots off the floor by setting them on something to keep the root zone warmer. Lights on during the coldest time of the day.... I have grown in -30-40* temps in an unheated 8x12x12' room off a heated 3,000 sf shop with only an oscilatting fan and a exhaust fan.
If we knew what this was going to be, maybe more would vote yes/no on it. You are voting for a prop that says, "oh look now you can have some cannabis," but we haven't made the rules yet.
Prop 19 as well as the other ballot measures will take effect January 1st people. So your either going to have to wait a few months or you might as well just start now. Personally I will be waiting for the outcome of prop 19 to either grow 25 sq. feet in my yard in march/april or getting a med card(if it doesnt pass) and doing the same.
Exactly, sure less people will vote against it because of it but it allows reform in the future also. It's up to the counties to decide how and where to regulate it, some may even become "brown" or dry counties, where it won't be sold at all. IDK about you, but i would rather have it legal and without taxation, i just want to grow without fear dammit! The government won't get any more of my money! Props go into effect the day after they are voted on, so Nov. 3rd would either be the same or the stoniest day in Cali of all time.
You are correct that it will go into effect on the 3rd, but you've got to realize that most people don't smoke, so some leeway in regulation has to be allowed if we want it passed. Full unregulated legalization has no appeal to non smokers so it wouldn't pass. Yes counties can decide whether or not to allow commercial growth or sale; but it says nothing about being able to restrict personal growth of the generous 25 square feet that can easily sustain a household.
Ya i have 3 little seedlings waiting to grow up into my first legal crop, it's so exciting haha . Today, they are an illegal drug, tomorrow, they are just as nature intended, a plant. God's gift to be exact .
Im gonna be so bummed if it doesn't pass. But ill do my part and punch that yes in tomorrow morning... after some bowls of course. How great is it that the first thing I get to vote for is legalization of Marijuana? Its gonna be a story for a grandkids when i tell them you used to go to jail for this stuff.
