Agreed. T5's can get the job done. Be sure to do a slight Sea of green style/lollipop grow or flower earlier than usual; T5's in my opinion don't penetrate more than 2-2.5 ft down.
the thing about T-5s they are long and i do not have a socket or lamp for them cause of space. Thats why im going with bulbs
it's a screen of green. look in the advanced section for greenmonsters thread on scrogs, it's a great tutorial!
Its baisically where you place a screen on top of the plants and grow them all evenly. The idea is to make an even canopy and cut what doesn't get light. You trick the plants into thinking it has multiple "tops", thus increasing final yield. http://ourweed.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Grow_room_marijuana_scrog.jpg
You put plants in the grow area, prune them so the growths are even. You then place a screen at a certain height you want them at and then you grow them into the screen as you trim off undergrowth that receives little to no light.
Go read some SOG - Sea of green or LST - Low Stress Training Forums Great Advice and images on getting max weight out of a confined space. Also if you search on those terms you can light it up and watch some bud porn.
Pruning generally done with a steel razor or trimming scissor's that have been sterilized in alcohol.
here's the link to greenmonsters tutorial, good stuff!!! http://forum.grasscity.com/plant-training/48363-scrog-method.html
there's a bit of a learning curve involved, but the increased yield is well worth the time it takes to learn. follow greenmonsters info., and you'll do fine.
