Starting again, really need expert opinions

    Hi All,

    so I fucked up my last two grows and I've learned a fair bit about what works and what doesn't. I've gotten a bigger tent that can handle a proper grow without burning the tops. I've been reading some of the guides and it got to the stage where there was so much info I couldn't really settle on what was the right way.

    But I'm down to my last 4 seeds (blackberry Kush auto) and I REALLY don't want to experiment anymore I really just want to get a good decent grow and start proper cloning.

    So I've got a bubble bucket with a 6 pot capacity, got the air pump, the carbon filters, the fans and the lights. But my questions are:

    - Rockwool? best for growing indoor hydro and bubble and is there any particular way to make sure the pH is correct? Can I grow the seeds directly from the rock wool? Do you let the seeds lay in the rock wool or do you have to bury them inside it?

    - Nutrients, I've got the GH growing nutrients trio but I wanted to get floralicious plus, or is it really necessary?

    - Clay balls for growing media outside of rock wool?

    Looking forward to your replies all, I'm out of ideas at this stage and out of the ability to keep testing regularly

    I’ve got fans and aircon to keep the temp right so I don’t know if that helps?

    The last time I tried to grow I used peat pellets in the clay balls and some of them took and some didn’t and then they got all this white mould on them.

    Man you wanna read a hydro book or a thread theres tons of variables.
    You said your taking cuttings but you cant get a proper cut from a auto as it immediatley starts flowering when rooted and your taking away from the yield of the 4 mothers as autos are a 1 stop grow.
    Take cuts of photo plants just let your autos finish.

    Light and humiditt must have been getting to the pellets to make mould grow on the substrate most hydro growers cover it all up so nothing like algae mould can grow.

    I started reading a weed bible or something like that and I mustn't have read it right. Really just wanted to get someone's advice after reading about what happened rather than trying to decipher a book and hope I get it right (shouldn't be that hard but I messed up).

    I think that it was stupid for me to use the peat pellets in a hydro setup. Hence why I'm going to try the Rockwool.

    Ive got about 5 books on growing weed good to fall back on for different opinions but u got grasscity nowadays so it makes things a lot easier/clearer imo.
    with hydro the smallest mistake can ruin your crops ph and nutes u gotta b on point with were as soil lets you off a lot more.
    Big up the hydro guys tbh as i know id forget somethin.

    Hydros easy mate its just following numbers on sticks. Number goes up you bring it back down and vice versa. Its confusing at first but its simple. Im trying coco just now and i hate it lol. Dont like not being able to poke my stick in and see whats happening or be able to check my roots. Its stressin me out
