I want to start growing one or two plants in a closet that is 30"x30"x8'. Iv been looking at this, 400 watt SWITCHABLE HPS MH GROW LIGHT SODIUM HALIDE w - eBay (item 390036154449 end time May-08-09 11:02:23 PDT) but i fear it might be overkill? Is there a less expensive way i could it in this small space?
iv covered the entire surface of the closet with foil and i have 4x 40w sylvania t8 6500k 2180 lumens each tubes but they are 4' long so i have to either hang them crooked or could i light the plant from the sides?
so would that work? other wise i can move to a longer closet in order to hang the lights directly above the plants. i can take pics too just let me know. thank you for your wisdom.
