Hey, Well, I finally started this job I've been wanting for the past 2 months. I had to cheat the piss test as soon as I got there, but that went all good. I'll be assembling Hydro-static Transmissions for lawnmowers and such. Looks like MUCH opportunity for an actual career, though. Today, it was ALL classroom orientation bullshit, but at least that shit's overwith. Fucking 9 hours of it. I'll be making $9.00/hr. getting a lot of overtime, and double-time on sundays if I choose ($18.00 an hour, yea I'll take that cash!!) 4:30pm - 3:00am Monday-Saturday is my actual work schedule, but I'm definitely taking a couple sundays. So, it seems that tonight will be my last evening off for a while, unless I take off sundays... but no alcohol is sold in town on sundays, so that sucks. So, it looks like I'm getting drunk tonight. And they said they don't do random drug screens, unless there's an injury, so I think I'll be good on that. Go me.
hell ya dude. it sucks working friday and saturday nights though, if 18$ an hour is worth it then more power to ya. i started my new job today at some high class restruant. i havent had a real job for 9 months.
