The weed is growing great. No nutrients . At the moment one is 7 feet tall. Should I do any type of trimming.
Nice healthy plants! I would trim up the bases, and thin out where fan leaves may be rubbing together. Can make a good home for mold. I think new england gets cold and humid late season. Good luck!
They look great! Have you topped them at all? If you top them at least once it will encourage the branches to grow wider and ultimately give you a better yield.
Just use some sharp scissors and cut the tops off. Uncut top: Cut here: Should look like this when you're done: Cut just above the branch intersection. Now's the time to do it because they're going to beginbloom within the next 3-4 weeks.
