Yep yesterday was my first full day on it, my lips are a little dry but that's the only side effect so far. I already think its working, so of the red spots are already fading away.
Isotretinoin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia a really powerful/dangerous medication for acne that has been shown to cause various stomach and intestinal disorders that DON'T go away just eat right and work out man, it'll go away on its own
I'm on my 7th month right now. 30mg twice a day. Get ready for hell on your lips. One thing they didn't tell me when I started is that the chapped lips problem WILL NOT go away. Even after stopping the medication, your lips will still be fucked. My sister has been off it for 3 years and her lips still get chapped really bad year round. That's really the only side effect I've had. But please don't take the warning label lightly. Do NOT share your medication. The birth defects are right out of The Hills Have Eyes. acne is 100% cured though! . You might still get a little redness when your grow your beard so be sure go shave every couple days. I've found that Blistex Medicated Ointment for 2 hours before bed, then whipe it off and put a heavy coat of Carmex unflavored chapstick on before you go to sleep until you wake up. Then after you brush your teeth in the morning put a THIN layer of Vaseline Lip Therapy on your lips and leave it on all day without adding anymore layers until the two hours before bed when you apply the Blistex Medicated Ointment. I do this every other day and on the days in between just use the Vaseline Lip Therapy throughout the day and apply a coat every couple of hours. Just make sure you keep your lips nice for the lip biting ladies. Just remember to whipe any chapstick off your lips before kissing. The Blistex tastes espescially awful and the smell is kinda repulsive as well.
I was on 20mg p/d for about 6 months, now I'm on this after-cream stuff. The first few weeks are the first, and especially after you increase your dose. Just carry around some lip balm in your pocket Good luck man, I hope your skin gets better, mine's a lot better now P.S. On top of using the Accutane, drink a LOT of water, cut the soda, cut the fatty foods, stay healthy I heard aloe vera gel is supposed to be good? Tea tree cream is fantastic too man, best of luck
I was on 40mg once a day for 4 months, now I'm on 30mgs twice a day for 3 minths , and next is one month of 40mg in the morning and 30mg at night for my last month. 8 months total. Sounds like I gotbthe worst case scenario as far as chapped lips go. I'm on a god damn chap stick regiment. Lol Totally worth it for clear skin though.

What are these 'vegetables' you speak of? Idk my diet isn't all that unbalanced and ny acne wasn't all that had, just persistent.
best of luck with that. one of my friends was on accutane for a while and got some pretty nasty side effects (although, he also has severe stomach/digestive issues), but it did clear up his acne. i think it needs to be worse than just the occasional outbreak of pimples to warrant such a treatment.
One of the major side effect as well is it can offset chemical balance in the brain and cause you to develope suicidal thoughts/actions. Never had this problem while I'm on it but just thought i'd throw that out there. Yeah it really is a nasty, dangerous drug but worth it if you're tired of acne. Never asked my doctor what using marijuana might do, maybe that'd be a good question to ask. Oh well I'm on such a long break right now that I barely even remember what its like o be high.
awesome links- always good if you post it though i'm a natural advocate as well. cut out the prescription crap OP, just find out what your body is missing
