I popped two Girl Scout Cookies auto fems 2 weeks ago. At first it was cold and wet, then turned really hot and humid... today is beautiful, 80F and dry. A long way to go, but they look ok so far.
58F and pouring out today... it'll be a miracle if these make it to harvest.. awful weather in NE this summer.
I'm right with you man. I just popped some White Widow 1 week ago, so I'm still waiting after this probationary period to pass in to vegetation. I'm in Boston man, so I'm going through the same dealimea. I had to bring it in today and put it under light. I think it good that they get weathered so they'll be stronger plant. Especially the stems and branches. Remember, weed has been growing outdoors since the beginning of time. I'm just going to let it do it's thing from now on to get acclimated to the weather here.
I'm in Central Mass and it feels like bloody October. It's still 58F at 5:30AM... Not much growth yesterday.
I caught some growth when I brought her inside under a lamp yesterday. Straightened up and went tall. I heard the early stretch isn't good but I put her back outside to hopefully come out with a stronger harvest. I want a short plant that I can put into flowering mode early.
Here's the update. Both seedlings are Girl Scout Cookies auto fems, planted in the exact same soil, water is the same (all rain) no nutes added yet, sun exposure is identical. One plant is much hardier than the other. One is dark green, the other has a touch of yellow... not bad, but still noticeable. About 3 weeks since germination.
That is beautiful. If I showed you mine right now, you'd probably tell me to just stop. I don't know what's going on but it's like the growth has been stunted for whatever reason. Leaves are still green, same soil, it just like stopped growing and still looks like week 1. No over watering besides the rain from last night after I had just watered her in the morning before work.
This grow is strange... 2 identical seeds in the same 12 gallon planter, using the same soil, same sun, same water.... yet one plant is double the other.
Wow, that's extremely crazy. One might be getting more sunlight or has a better root pathway. I'm not sure because that's weird.
The amount of rain we're getting this summer is insane. We had more rain last wednesday then we had for the entire summer of 2016. My vigorous plant is still going gangbusters.. the runt is still a runt.
Looks like one month in I have preflowers on my big girl.. The runt has picked up a tiny bit. Do autoflowers start that young?
