From right now until Monday, SWTOR is free. I'm taking this opportunity to download it and give it a try... even though I doubt it's gonna win me over. I don't know if this is being broadcast everywhere on the internet, but I didn't see a thread about it so I figured I might as well point it out to y'all. I've played a character to 50 and I currently have a 45. I'm bored already man. The pvp can be fun if you have friends to play with but otherwise you're wasting time doing dailies(which I never do). Although it got boring quickly, there are storylines to complete for each class and they can be very interesting. It gave a single player feeling in an online world with the combination of alignment gain similar to Mass Effect.
Yep, I've read a lot of people talking about how quickly they got bored, that's one reason I never got into it. But if they're gonna have four free days, I can't see a better time to try it out. Although there better be something damn good in 10gb of content downloading.

I was pretty into SWTOR, until I played Tera. Now I have no desire to play another tab targeting MMO. Any game that promotes time put in over skill is fail. IMO that is.
I tried it for the first time today, only took about 2 hours to download. It seems pretty good so far. The story line is interesting and the way they have movies for quests is different for me. Im just not sure how the higher lvls and pvp is going to be.
I'm getting close to all my caps and it's been like SP with occasional coop MP the whole way. I can't get over the crappy interface, though. Might be worth subscribing if they don't make me pay the 60 bucks for the client with the shit interface. Otherwise, I think I'm gonna be out.
it's funny that people say the game is boring already. it's been out what? 3 months? and in 1.2 (releasing in april) they're releasing Legacy, which will change the ENTIRE outlook of the game. as well as releasing more warzones and operations. people forget it's still in its infant stages.
