Star Wars is like super hero/comic book movies. As long as high budget movies exist, they will continue to exist. When you think people should finally be getting tired remakes and retellings of the same exact story, some of them never seem to.
out 9.21 on Disney channel, most of us are waiting for the return of Mando3 after the disastrous Obi-Wan, this is another side kick adventure about spies an stuff legged of the Rogue One story Spoiler The series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor's journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It's an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero. (imdb) more cgi from the car garage it could go either way at this point Stoner Value - Medium (Mando = Great : Obi won = Poor)
Can't wait for Mando 3. The last 4-5 episodes of season 2 were some of the best TV I have ever seen. But I did love Obi-Wan too. Not nearly as much as Mando, but more than Boba Fett.
I love half of the star wars movies/shows... It just keeps going between high budget and low budget..
I think with Andor, they aren't using the "Volume" to shoot, like BOBF, Mando, Obi-wan. Andor is more traditional shooting, Locations, sets, CGI to fit the rest. After those shows, and now Andor, it's very easy to see the difference now. Love all of series, some to more degrees than others, just glad that a more "Grown up" show like Andor is being done. Paves the way for more grown up SW series. SW can me more grown up without being "R" rated. It still hold true to what SW is, a 1930 serial based drama (even the dialogue hold true, albeit being more grown up).
Agreed have you noticed the music, same theme but different take on each show...? in one show the orchestra were in the town street playing as our hero was walking up the street, out in the open talk about playing live ....lol so very cool
True I've only seen as far as part 3? Im saving them up until the show has completed to view in one or two showings
(10mins) Andor is without doubt the best Star Wars show that Disney have managed to produce. Yeah, that's not exactly a high benchmark, but its something. So it's kind of a shame nobody's bothered to watch it, probably because we've had to endure such absolute garbage to get here ....... YouTube's: The Critical Drinker
I think Disney is oversaturating the market too. They've made so much Marvel and Star Wars stuff over the last 3 years people have become kinda tired of it. It's gotten watered down, especially with the Disney+ shows being poorly written. That's where Andor was such a surprise. It's really good given the years of junky StarWars we've seen.
