  1. I'm intersted in music production and already have some gear. Nuendo, BFD Lite, Fruity Loops, Etc. I want something more for beats, that extra kick. So im purcahsing a dj setup, i look most intersted in the Stanton Dj Lab 3. All i want to know is if anyone has used it? Or is there somthing you would rather suggest.

  2. I use Sony Acid Pro for loopimg my beatboxing ;)

  3. ill be completely honest with you. Ive been seriously djing for a long while now, and I used to mess with those pre-packaged dj kits, and theyre not worth your time man. They always come with bottom of the barrel turntables, junk needle/carts, and a minimal mixer. If you're serious I recommend getting a set of second hand technics 1200's... Theyre bomb proof, and you'll never have to upgrade. Plus if you end up getting bored with spinning, their resale value is ultra high. (even 15-20 year old ones can go for like 350-400, as long as they were kept in top condition). If you just absolutely cannot afford second hand technics, then go for the numark TT200s. Their torque is close to that of the technics, and the construction is quite solid. (these go for around 200 bucks each, or 325 for a pair on ebay). What style of music do you want to spin?
