Alrite I know you all have heard this before but I am getting extremely fed up with oppressive, dictatory (i think thats a word) law. In the last few months I have had tons of friends arrested. There was even one incident where they put undercover cops in a local high school and arrested over 14 dealers and many other... consumers. I am also extremely concerned with the message parents and others are getting about pot. I have one kid who has nearly killed himself because his parent wouldnt allow him to smoke it. Not in a suicidal way but looking for other alternatives such as fucking with all kinds of over the counter pills. Now his parents have sent him to the mountains in GA for some camp so he cant smoke and if they catch him again they send him to military school!!!!!!! Okay so not to bore you with the stories but my point is this: the fucking media is making out marijuana to be a extremely harmful, addicting substance but allows advertisement for alcohol.. which has lead to millions of deaths. Dont get me wrong I love beer but weed has not killed one person. All i am asking is why are there millions of us doing this and not putting up a fight? I know there have court cases and such but why dont we put up commercials? My friends bought mass furry pimp hats that had weed signs all over them and distributed them at a fourth of july fireworks thing in Columbas. There were a shit load of people wearing them all night. So on this post lets brainstorm or something on how we can shit the negative view off the harmless plant. -peace and blaze on ((((((((sorry for bitchin))))))))
that definately gives weed a good rep.... in my opinion thats why weed has such a bad rep, because of stuff like that... my rehab counsler said i wish they would llegalize marijuana so i could make more money lol
haha i guess u were just in a fight the power sorta mood, thats great just donate to a pro marijuana organization, there much better organized then even the opposition and im shure tahts the best way for us to help out
why don't we make weed commercials? good question. wait, nevermind...no, it isn't. you have good intentions, but so do washing machines. my point is, you're not the first and you're not the last - but this thread will accomplish nothing. it's an insignificant step that leads nowhere. you'll probably forget you even posted this 2 months from now (if not sooner). here are some ideas for REAL progress: ...keep doing what you're doing (it's 10x more helpful than making a useless thread) - buying weed, possibly selling, smoking, posting here, introducing people to it, and just supporting it in general ...donate money to organizations that actually do something ...if you're really as into it as you say, start your own organization. suddenly you're having second thoughts, eh or maybe that's too much work and holy shit einstein, that border on your avatar is trippy.
