Im looking to do an extreme stealth grow and am looking preferbally not to have any wires running to any plugs. Is there an stand alone self operation power sources that can power my lights without the need of a plug?
Unless you plan on running a string of Christmas lights you're going to need more than a battery. A generator would work but would be very noisy. If you're using 120 volt plugs you'll need a 120 volt power supply. High intensity discharge lights use ALOT of power and a few batteries alone wouldn't supply enough power to run it for 4 months. Unless you're using some sort of alternator (which you would also need to power) to recharge the batteries you're out of luck. Not even a huge lithium ion battery would power a 400w hps for 3-4 months. This is the reason everyone uses power outlets instead of batteries.
