St. Malachy Last Pope Prophecy: What Theologians Think About 12th-Century Prediction This is the end? Pope gives up cryptic hint Just curious what you guys think about this. I was raised catholic, but no longer consider my self one. I do really like Pope francis's views though. Anyways, Im usually not one to believe end of the world prophecies but I do find this one interesting. Basically a old Irish catholic priest supposedly wrote this list of all of the popes that would come to be, in order. The current pope francis is the last one on the list, and then it says ‘In extreme persecution, the seat of the Holy Roman Church will be occupied by Peter the Roman, who will feed (lead) the sheep through many tribulations, at the term of which the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the formidable Judge will judge his people. The End.’ With Isis claiming to want to destroy the Vatican a year or two ago maybe it is true?
Nobody knows for sure except the Lord, the exact time He's planning to return. But I truly believe we are at THE end. According to Bible prophecy, absolutely EVERYTHING is lined up. I know there are differences in the beliefs of the Catholics and Protestant faiths, but according to our guide book, it could happen any day now. THE most important thing you do in this life is to decide whether you're a child of Christ or a child of the Devil. That sounds like some kind of science fiction to those who haven't been "raised" with beliefs of any kind other than those they developed in their own mind. But I fear there will be a whole lot of people who are about to be surprised to discover that what they've generally considered as "fables" or just "stories," is real truth and that there is a great and much higher power than the mind of MAN!! TWW
One can only hope! They need to open up the vault of history they have tucked away. To your topic though, i dont buy into 'apocalypticism'.
If ISIS wants to destroy Christianity they're at least 1000 years too late. I don't wanna insult anyone's believes but if the Romans woulda lasted longer god (the irony) only knows where we'd be
