SSFG Travel Beaker - is the disc diffused slide worth it?

    I'm looking to pick up my first bong and wanted something small for travel and stealth - I've heard great things about the SSFG Travel Tubes.

    The showerhead is a must for $15, but does anyone know if the disc diffused slide is worth the $25 upgrade? Seems a little steep - I'm not even sure what it does. I've heard it helps with airflow and it's basically like a built-in screen, and that seems cool, but wouldn't that make the bong clear before pulling out the slide due to the small size of the chamber? (8 inches)

    If anyone has one please let me know! And tell me how you like it!

    Simply put, yes. It is extremely worth it. It makes my bong stack likes its never stacked before.

    is it a bad thing too clear a bong without pulling the slide?

    well, no, but I like it more when I can milk the bong as much as I want before clearing it.

    I'm not a huge fan of them unless you have them in a perc bong. for a simple showerhead downstem I dont think they're necessary, and they are too big of a bowl for the travel beaker IMO. I would prefer my zenit one decent size hole bowl. I feel as if you get the most of out your weed with the non disk diffused slide

    The Disk diffused slide will help fully utilize the showerhead Perc downstem. You can milk the tube still but also you'll be able to take bigger hits .
