SSA Purchasing Bullets!!

Discussion in 'Pandora's Box' started by angusbeef, Sep 5, 2012.

  1. The Social Security Administration posted a notice that it was purchasing 174,000 hollow-point bullets. Why is the agency that provides benefits to retirees, disabled workers, widows and children stockpiling ammunition? Whom are they going to use it on?

"It's not outlandish to suggest that the Social Security Administration is purchasing the bullets as part of preparations for civil unrest," the website Infowars.com said.

Another website, The Daily Caller, said the bullets must be for use against American citizens, "since the SSA has never been used overseas to help foreign countries maintain control of their citizens."

  3. 1. If the government was really up to some grand conspiracy here, why would such an assignment be given to the SSA?
    2. If such an assignment were given to the SSA (for some reason,) why would they go posting exactly how much ammunition they were buying on a public website?
    3. Why the fuck are you regarding the Daily Caller as an unbiased source?
    4. Why the fuck are you regarding infowars as a source at all?
    5. There is never too much watermelon.

  4. If you seriously believe that this is solely for training and nothing more... You are an idiot.

They are preparing for something big, there is no other way to say it.

  5. ....did you think the DHS used bows and arrows or what?

If this kind of thing bothers you, then what you should be bitching about is the very existence of the DHS, not the fact that they are buying the supplies necessary to do what they were created to do, right?

  6. first of all, Hollow points are not cheap, no one in their right mind would buy hollowpoints for training exercises

Geneva convention condemned their use on the battlefeild due to the amount of damage and destruction they cause, so they cant say they will be using them in any wars or anything

the only possible conclusion is that, they will be used on American citizens during a suspected revolution, which the state will call "an uprising"

  7. this is like Ford buying a bunch of lambo's then claiming they are crash test cars

  8. There is no point in bitching about the existence of the DHS on GC...

There IS a point in waking people up to the fact that they are preparing for something.

  9. Preparing to do what they were created to do....again, I fail to see the revelation here.

  10. The SSA never said that it was all for training. They said that they were arming their agents.

  11. Isn't there ammunition that's specifically designed for training?

    CONSPIRACY

  12. Have they always used hollow point bullets?

  13. I never said solely for training. Its a fact most ammunition is used in training exercises
the rest will be in the guns and suspects slain of the SSA Agents.

  14. Lol there is no revelation...

    Just confirmation;)

  15. Probably. Many officers do. Absolutely nothing new there.

  16. I guess there are those who think that taking the government at their word is a safe thing to do.
Myself, I wouldn't trust the government any further than I can spit bricks.
The one thing that throughout the history of this country the government has consistently proven time & again (redundant I know) is that it can't be trusted. That it can't be trusted to keep it's word and/or look out for the best interest of it's citizens.

The governments contracts out for bid to purchase a half a billion hollow points, the installation of FEMA camps across the country, the contracts for large plastic (?) containers (suitable for holder multiple bodies) sentry booths, radiation gear.
All lead me to believe that the government is expecting an emergency on a coast to coast scale and not necessarily a natural disaster such as Katrina.

Whether or not our government is taking Iran at her word to drive us back to the
1800's by way of a nuke detonated above our atmosphere remains to be seen.

Call me a wearer of tinfoil hats/moron to believe any of the above and/or whatever.
I have been telling people since zerobama's early days in office that well armed, well supplied with plenty of ammo should be a top priority for every American.

It's been estimated by experts that in the case of a national emergency that 90% of Americans could die within the first twelve months. Within a couple of months of such an event most people would hit the road in search of food and the bloodletting would begin.

Myself? I thought that a three month stockpile of food & water would be enough to see me & my wife through such an event. I no longer feel that way.
    I continue to prepare.
The reason? the same reason I use for car insurance or the reason I carry water & a jacket in the truck. Not that I need any of them, but just in case.

    Cheers:p

  17. You seem to not realize that the DHS ate up a bunch of other shit that already had plenty of guns, like the coast guard, secret service and INS. All this proves is that the people who always had guns now have more ammunition for them.

  18. Orrrrr that with the growing culture of fear and anxiety that we all live in, the disaster-preparedness market is growing insanely rapidly, and quite a few high-ranking government officials are heavily invested in these companies...
