  1. ok well i wanna buy a squirrel cage fan i just dont know how much noise it will make i dont want it to make alot its gotta be stealthy if its going ot make alot of noise then im fucked and im not going ot use one heres the site http://sunshinehydro.com/cart/customer/product.php?productid=16781&cat=&page=1

please let me know waht you think about that and how much noise it will make just give me some

  2. looks good...they are definitely loud. check if you have any electronics surplus stores in your area first..i found my dayton blower 300+ cfm slightly used for 15$! probably the smartest buy i made in constructing my room. hang it with a bungee cord to cut down the noise or if need be, get a rheostat or fan controller for it so you can turn it down a bit. hope this helps!

  3. how noisy is that dayton?

  4. ok so the squirrel cage fan really is not that loud lol you guys def need to do some research :)

  5. An inline duct fan/centrifugal fan makes about half the racket but will cost more. Ebay is king for finding the good deal on a quality inline duct fan.
I found a few inline duct fan/that are about the same size as that cage fan you are looking at:

    Fantech 6" 392 CFM $80.00

Vortex PowerFans 6 Inch Inline Exhaust Fan Duct Blower $71.00

They have more every day. The price is a starting bid (will go up). I pulled both my 6" fans for $50 each + shipping.
I replaced my cage fan with an inline fan due to the noise factor.
    Peace, R.
