Sprouting in 12/12?

    I would like to start a small indoor grow using 12/12 from sprout to harvest. From what I'm told, they start putting on bud after about 3-4 weeks. This is all I know, not even sure if that info is true. I tried google but came up with nothing.

    Could some one please fill me in?

    Is this your first grow? What's your hurry?

    You can definately go straight from seed to 12/12, but don't expect more than a bowl or two from each plant. If you are not in a hurry, it is definately worth vegging for a month or two to maximize yield.

    I did 12/12 from seed and harvested more htan half an Oz and I did it with my lights way outa position, bad soil, crappy nutes, and CFLs rather than HOS of HID (although the plant is known as a high yield plant). It's definitely possible and pretty easy. you don't get the amount of bud you would if you vegged for a month, but it's quick and easy.

    Great. This isn't exactly my first grow, I've had plently of plants vegging in my closet before, but something always comes up so I never get to see them bud.

    I figure this way I should at least get something.


    How long will it for these plants show they're sex?

    Also, could I use LST with these plants?

    i use my 250 hps start to finish. i start my seeds at 12/12 under the light until they pop up then switch to 16/8 and it always works. i hear and see u can grow from 12/12 start to finish so its all good i would say

    Bump.

    I got some bag seeds in paper towls at the moment, I should be planting them soon and I still can't find any more info about it on the web.

    I still don't think I fully understand this :confused:

    ...

    Say flowering will take 8 weeks for this strain, how long would it take from sprout to harvest?

    it can definately be done...search these forums i know ive seen someone who did what you are talking about. they had grown the plants in 16 oz red cups. He got decent sized buds using CFL and soil. He said the smoke was alright too. Good luck and please post progress...i love to see these kind of neat grows.

    It should take a lil less time for the males to show than the females, and for both they should be sexed by 3 weeks, mine sexed a little more than 2. You probably could LST but I'm not sure how much good it would do. By the time the plant is big enough to LST it should be sexed/flowering.
