Sprouting and Sunlight

Discussion in 'Growing Organic Marijuana' started by bankcee, Jul 28, 2015.

  1. So today my seeds sprouted and I'm wondering when I can put them in natural sunlight? or when I should? One of my seeds has the shell still stuck to the cotelydons. and my other seed looks a little wilted, but it looks green and it even looks like my two serrated leaves are growing. I'm thinking its just because its still rising. I'm unsure weather to take the shell off my other stem. but anyways when do they need to be fed and when do they need to be put in direct sunlight. can I do today?

I have the seedlings in a mix of 30 percent shagnum peat 30 perlite and 30 ewc.

    any info is greatly appreciated.

  2. i dont see why seeds cant be in direct sunlight from day 1, its how they grow in nature after all. just protect them from harsh winds.

  3. doesn't wind encourage them to create a strong root system?

  4. wind encourages them to create strong stems and branches and should always be provided in moderation. i meant to protect them from strong winds which could harm them in this stage. people often grow seedlings in greenhouses for this reason.
