This sprout has been growing great and it's above the surface now but the seed is still pretty attached. Should I leave it like this or try to take the shell off? Thanks in advance
Leave it on, don't want to disturb the plant. If it doesn't fall off in the next week use some tweezers to get it off, only if it's easy to do.
I have no problem with pulling mine off, but i don't unless it's over like an inch and hasn't on it's own yet. And only if it slides right off on the first attempt, if it doesn't basically fall off with a tiny push, I leave for a couple more days. /agrees with give it a week or so
Umm i removed mine off while it was still in germination .. haha If the baby is outside leave it on .... the sun might damage the food leaves idoubt but why take the risk...
