Ah, my little sprout's tiny leaves seem to be turning yellow (the round ones, that's all it has right now.). I put them under a CF instead of my HPS and I hope it comes back to life. I think I may of overwatered. The PH of the water is 6.5 so I think I just went overboard. The lighting for the past 3 days has been 18/6 (on/off) and the temp has been around 80-85. Anyone else have a problem like this and had it resolved?
iv only ever had that happen once to 1 of 10 seeds that i started all the same way, never did find out y it happend to just that 1 and not any others. if ur prob was lights or watering then it sounds like u have done all u can to save it. mite just of bin a bad seed tho. only other ting i can think it cud b is bad soil, if the plant dont like the soil ur using then it mite not b able to use it and just starve to death. hope u save it tho. let us know if u do plz.
It sounds a little early, but the cotyledons (fake leaves, the round ones) will always fall off. usually it is after a few other leaves have formed though.
After my seedlings are well established, which in my mind is a week ,I start to fert with 1/4 strength. Each week I up the strength. By the 4th week my plants are well hardened to the ferts and burning is not a problem. But be carefiul and fert gradually. I meant to start with a weak fert soloution. Also try and not to fert the leaves as this is usually how burning occurs. PEACE!!!!
Hmm.. I've been giving it a little bit of H202 (hydrogen peroxide) with watering and it has been growing quite well. I have some FoxFarms BigBloom fert - could I use a little bit of that even though it's for the flowering stage?? I only plan to veg for another week so I don't think it'll matter.
