Springfield Missouri City Council repealed a marijuana decriminalization ordinance!

Monday night (September 24, 2012), the Springfield Missouri City Council repealed a marijuana decriminalization ordinance that the City Council passed the measure themselves, only to be able to repeal the ordinance so it could not go to the ballot and deny voters the chance of voting for it!

Here is the list of the douchbag Springfield City Council members and their contact info who circumvented the political process to make sure marijuana decriminalization would not happen!

  2. I recommend people leave missouri...fuck the 'show me' state...

  3. I highly recommend the same thing. If people are looking for somewhere with decriminalized marijuana/mmj this is not the place to be at all. I hate it here and there are far more reasons than just the marijuana laws.

  4. I dont think a city could legalize something thats illegal by the state

  5. What a pack of turds. I know Springfield fairly well and they're quite liberal there. If this had gone to ballot it would have passed for sure. Gotta keep the streets safe for kids though.

  6. I'm glad I don't live there anymore but I do miss the head shops

  7. St. louis is pretty sweet.

  8. I miss Mr eddies headies in Springfield

  9. Well, shit. They need to be able to confiscate peoples' property in these tough economic times to pay bloated government salaries. No surprise. I'm sure there weren't any promises of campaign funding in return... uh-huh.

Disgusting. The political process is off the tracks the world over.

  10. I just moved to FL from Springfield but I have to admit I was pretty excited to see it get a shot at decriminalization...It is a pretty big college town I completely agree with travilanche and believe it wouldve passed easy if it had been given a fair chance.
