I recently saw some aphids on my plant so I sprayed with Azamax. Now the heads seem shriveled. Is this a normal reaction? Any advice?
What was your mix ratio, did you spray when the lights were off? If you got the mix ratio to strong or sprayed when the lights were on it that can damage new growth much easier then older growth.
Yeah this is probably what's happened OP, you might lose the effected leaves, you could try a sort of leaf flush, get as much of it off as you can spray with water when the lights are off.
That's the problem with running a 24hr light cycle. I look at it this way if mother nature wanted plants to get 24 hours of light the sun wouldn't set. Any way you can take your plants outside and sit them in the shade to spray them not in direct sunlight in the future? When I have to spray indoors I do it just before the lights go off and if needed run the lights an extra few minutes to finish spraying. Outdoors I either do it early morning before they get direct sunlight or just shortly before the sun sets.
Even if you are going 24 0 it won't hurt to kill the light while you spray. Allow 15 to 30 minutes after then turn your light back on. Besides it's good to let your ballast take a short break every now and then. http://forum.grasscity.com/index.php?/topic/1290525-400w-MH/HPS-mixed
